Data protection
The apartment rental operations by TVT Asunnot (hereinafter referred to as “TVT Asunnot”) requires the processing of personal data. Processing personal data is based on customer relationship, other appropriate context or the customer’s explicit consent. Personal data is used for purposes such as managing customer relationships, performing customer satisfaction and other surveys and customer communications, as well as apartment maintenance tasks and marketing.
TVT Asunnot pays special attention to protecting the privacy and personal data of its customers and it adheres to good data processing practices. Personal data is mainly collected from the customer themselves. Additionally, personal data is collected from the credit information register of Suomen Asiakastieto Oy and the population register system of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.
TVT Asunnot can also collect data about the visitors’ terminal devices on its website, using cookies and other similar technologies, such as web analytics (read more; www.tvt.fi/fi/kayttoehdot). The collected data is not regularly disclosed outside TVT Asunnot, excluding situations related to changes in the ownership of an apartment and the cooperation parties determined in the data protection plan.
According to the Personal Data Act, each person has the right to inspect what data has been saved into the register regarding them. This inspection request cannot be made by phone; it has to be written and signed by the data subject. Please address your written inspection request to TVT Asunnot Oy, Customer services, Käsityöläiskatu 3, 20100 Turku. When requestion information, please include your name, address and personal identity code as well as the information whether you wish inspect data related to a certain matter, all data or data from a certain period of time. Before we can disclose any data, the requester must prove their identity with an authority-approved ID (passport, ID card, driver’s licence).
The customer has the right to request the rectification, erasure or supplementation of data in the register related to them that is erroneous, outdated, deficient or unnecessary for the purposes of the processing. Right to prohibit refers to a person’s right to prohibit the controller from using the data related to them for direct marketing purposes. A previously given consent to direct marketing can also be withdrawn at any time by reporting the prohibition by email to tvtasunnot@tvt.fi.
